On the Camino de la Alfarería, in La Cañada de San Urbano, on the edge of Almería. According to Google Maps it is about 11 minutes by car from Almería airport, 19 from the city centre, 24 from Aguadulce and 30 from Roquetas de Mar. There is parking at the finca.
02How many events take place each day?
Just one. You will have every space to yourselves, with no rush and no overlap.
03How many guests fit?
Up to 280 seated for dinner, in the Salón de las Golondrinas, and more than 300 standing for drinks, in the Olivar del Alcaraván. Bodas.net lists it for 1 to 325 guests.
04Can the civil ceremony be held at the finca?
Yes, and it is one of its most requested services: there are several outdoor spaces, and the team helps with the ritual, the set-up and the officiant.
05Who does the cooking?
The finca has its own professional kitchen and the food is cooked on the day, never pre-cooked or reheated. It works with trusted catering companies, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and children’s menus.
06Can we bring our own suppliers?
Yes, as long as they meet the finca’s conditions and sign an agreement. Coordinating them is up to you.
07What if it rains?
The Salón de las Golondrinas is a covered, air-conditioned space, and the finca always prepares a plan B in advance.
08Is there accommodation?
The Casita de los Mirtos sleeps two, and is a place to get ready and keep a private space. The finca also works with nearby hotels and rural stays, and offers coaches and minibuses for guests, with several return trips.
09How late does the party go?
On its Bodas.net listing the finca says it operates until 6am. Please confirm with the finca when you book.
10How much does it cost to hire?
According to Bodas.net, between €4,000 and €5,000. According to the finca, it includes exclusive use of every space, indoors and out, logistics and coordination support, assistance staff, set-up and basic cleaning. Catering, decoration, transport and entertainment are booked separately.
11What is the weather like in Almería?
Mild in winter and very warm in summer: from 2015 to 2024 the average high was about 16 °C in January and about 32 °C in July and August. Rain is scarce, almost none from June to August. The sea runs from 15 to 28 °C.
12Is it accessible?
According to Google, the entrance, the parking and the toilets are wheelchair accessible.
